Normally most things are well music to my ears! But if I had to pick a favourite genre I would be honest, I do not really have one. For me I more of a get into a specific band/person. Like yes most grunge things are great and it's a genre I love lots. But like I don't listen a range of singles, I get into a band like yes I'd love to listen to Smashing pumpkins and would not mind to but I more into say I know everything nirvana. I know all the demo's and underground work. If I had to pick 5 genre's/era of music it would have to be:
I just think there fun. If you haven't gathered I'm going for that 90's/00's vibe. I just wish I was actually there to see it and not just relive it through the web. I'd love to run a band but I don't know how probably something I will do in college/six-form! I'd sing or play bass. Well, the drums seem cool.
Normally to listen to music I own the CD. For me it's the most useful same with DVD. Because it just put it into the system and play not like tapes. But also is portable and you own the music (if your on Neo Cities you know why to use physical media, if you don't search it ;) It will change your life!). iTunes is too expensive when you can rip the disc for the mp3. Cause I do have a iPod mini.
Now I will admit for music video's I do use youtube, like Top of the pops or MTV don't exsit any more so even if I wanted to I couldn't.

The best Oasis song ever! This has to be by far my favourite oasis song. For me this song is so emotional, it messages is so strong. Some how it mixes the sad lyrics perfectly with loud rock n roll instrument producing a sensory explosion. I never know how to react to this song; do I cry and feel sad or feel somehow powerful?
I just think it works perfectly. As a stand alone song it vibes. But when placed in album it perfectly paves the way for "married with children" and now that's a depressing song.
Early Oasis had this power to create a story out of nothing. Unlike Blur. Blur songs normally are full of a story but the lyrics are careful written out, Oasis's lyrics are nonsensical they make little sense. Until they are sang! Then you get the meaning.
I love this song with a passion (if you can't tell), even if it hard to explain!
For this section I will be updated around 1-5 times a week depending on how much time I have. The video featured i don't own them i just like them. If i am unable to find a offical music video i will link some sort of site for the band/person. Archive of all of sections from this
I love a lot of band/person. Some top picks are: Hole, Oasis, Stone Roses. I do enjoy other stuff as well but...
My all time favourite band is a classic: NIRVANA. Love them or hate them they are responsible for inspiring some of the best bands ever! Alt would not be alt without Nirvana. Kurt Cobain is a icon (So is Dave, Chris and Chad). Their music is always solid. For me it responsible for a lot of this ===> [pointing to the website].
Their best album is a hard choice. Nevermind a classic, all the songs are great but can be a bit too pop. While bleach and in utero are occasionally too rock heavy which makes sense. Brilliant is bleach, I love it! In utero is good don't get me wrong. For me you can always feel the raw emotion from Kurt (& the rest).
MTV unplugged is... Amazing!!! The raw emotion in such a calming way. It has probably been said a million times but a man who sold the world gives me chills it so emotive especially reading how they felt at that time.
So if I had to pick I'd say bleach but again all of them a almost perfect.
